The Central Government has provided us with toll-free numbers for EPFO balance inquiries. The agency says all those employees who have registered on the UAN portal can check their balance by using the SMS facility. They can send SMS through the registered number on 7738299899.

You can check your EPFO balance by sending an SMS from your registered number on the UAN portal. you have to just open your message and create a new message.
Write down EPFOHO followed by UAN Number then Your preferred language’s first three alphabet like English’s ENG and send it to 7738299899. If you send the message from an unregistered message then you will not get the EPF balance details.
Balanced checked by missed call
If you want to know your EPF balance through a missed call facility then the government has also provided us the phone number by which we can easily get our EPF balance details.
The only condition is that your mobile number should be registered in the UAN portal. For EPF balance enquiry you have to just give a missed call on 9966044425. Your EPF balance details will arrive through SMS.
How do we forget the forgotten UAN number
If you have forgotten your UAN number then not to worry. If you follow some simple steps then you can easily retrieve your UAN number.
Firstly you have to go to EPFO’s official website.
Then you have to click on the Know Your UAN option.
After that, you have to fill in some basic details of your EPF account.
You will get the Authorization pin on your registered number.
After entering the pin, you will get the UAN number on your screen.
If your UAN number is not active then first of all you have to activate your UAN number so you can access all these facilities.
