New Delhi: The BCCI is soon set to be headed by a new face. Former Delhi cricketer Mithun Manhas could become the new BCCI president. Currently, Rajiv Shukla has been appointed acting president, but the election of new office bearers is expected soon. Elections for the new BCCI officials are scheduled for September 28, 2025.
Everyone will gather in Mumbai for this. Sources indicate that Mithun Manhas is unlikely to face any challenge. He could be elected president unopposed. Manhas will attend the AGM on September 28 as a representative of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association. Harbhajan Singh from Punjab and former spinner Raghuram Bhat from Karnataka are also expected to participate.
Rajiv Shukla to be given this responsibility
According to BCCI sources, Rajiv Shukla may be re-elected as vice president. Furthermore, Devjit Saikia is expected to continue as secretary.
