With this scheme, eligible individuals can receive free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. You just need to show your Ayushman card at any government or private hospital that’s part of the program to get cashless treatment.
However, keep in mind that not every illness or treatment is covered. If you’re looking to get treated for a specific condition under the Ayushman Yojana, it’s a good idea to check which ones aren’t included.
You can easily find this info from home. Just head over to the official website at https://pmjay.gov.in/ and click on Health Benefits Packages in the menu. This will give you all the details about the treatments available.
If you prefer, you can also call the toll-free number 14555 for the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Yojana to ask about which diseases are covered or not. Plus, there’s an Ayushman Bharat app you can download for more information.
