When was the 20th instalment released?
The 20th instalment under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was sent on August 2. PM Narendra Modi released this money through DBT during a program in Varanasi. About 9.7 crore farmers have received the instalment money.
Many such farmers were deprived of the instalment amount who had not done work like e-KYC and land verification. Speciality of the scheme
For information, let us tell you that under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, three instalments of Rs 2,000 are sent every year. The gap between each instalment is 4 months. So far, 2,0instalmentsf of Rs 2,000 have been issued under the scheme.
The government started this scheme in the year 2019 for the upliftment of farmers. Since then, the instalment money has been sent every four months continuously. According to a report, around 12 crore farmers are registered with the scheme.
