Know what is the 8th Pay Commission?

As soon as the 8th Pay Commission is implemented, the salary will be increased on the basis of the fitment factor. The fitment factor will decide the basic salary. Considering the changing economic conditions as paramount, dearness allowance, house rent allowance, pension, and other allowances will be included. According to some reports, the fitment factor under the 8th Pay Commission is likely to be between 1.83 to 2.86.

According to the fitment factor, the salary hike range is likely to be around 13% to 34%. It depends on the last factor and the DA reset. Under the 7th Pay Commission, your minimum basic salary is Rs 18,000. If the new fitment factor is 1.83 times, then the salary will be Rs 32,940. Apart from this, if the fitment factor is 2.86 times, then the minimum salary will be up to Rs 51,480.

When is it likely to be implemented?

For information, let us tell you that it may take some time for the 8th Pay Commission to be implemented. It is expected that the government will implement the 8th Pay Commission by January 1, 2028. By the way, there has been a tradition in India to implement a new pay commission every ten years.
