PM Kisan Yojana – Crores of farmers are waiting for the 20th installment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. So far, 19 installments have been given to the farmers under this scheme, the last installment came to the farmers’ account on 24 February 2025 and now the time for the 20th installment has come. Actually, under this scheme, every farmer is given Rs 6000 annually, which comes to the farmers’ account as an installment of Rs 2000 every four months.
The 19th installment came on 24 February, so it is expected that the 20th installment will come in June. This scheme was started on 1 December 2018. Talking about the figures, between December 2024 and March 2025, 10,04,67,693 farmers have availed its benefits. There has been no official confirmation from the government yet about the date of the 20th installment, but looking at the past trend, it is believed that the 20th installment will come this month.

Apart from this, land record verification also has to be ensured. If a farmer has not done these three things, he may lose the 20th installment.
It is clearly written on the official portal of this scheme that you will have to do e-KYC to avail the benefits of this scheme.
The Agriculture Ministry recently conducted a nationwide saturation drive for PM-KISAN, which ended on May 31, 2025. The aim was to cover all eligible farmers and ensure compliance with the verification steps. Farmers were urged to complete the pending formalities during this period.
