Amrit Bharat Station: If you love to travel by train then this article is for you. The look of all the railway stations of India is being changed, now all those facilities are being provided in them which were till now seen only in foreign countries. Work is being done to beautify the stations. All this is happening under the government’s Amrit Bharat Station Yojana. In which a total of 103 Amrit stations of the country were inaugurated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated all these stations. So let us know what these Amrit stations are and what kind of facilities will be available in these stations.

Under the Amrit Bharat Station Yojana, efforts are being made to give a different look to all the stations across the country. These stations have been built on different themes. Along with art and culture, a glimpse of wildlife can also be seen in them.
What is special about Amrit Stations?
These railway stations are being described as a new era for Indian Railways infrastructure. The aim of this scheme is to make the stations clean, comfortable and make it easy for people to use all kinds of things. Very attractive entry and exit gates have been made in it. Along with this, comfortable waiting rooms, clean washrooms and platforms have been completely covered for the passengers.
Apart from this, lift facility has also been provided for the people in the stations. Along with this, various types of sign boards have also been installed along with facilities like free Wi-Fi. Local items will be sold at these Amrit stations under the One Station One Product scheme. Along with this, greenery will also be seen outside the stations.
In a press release issued by PIB, it has been told that platforms, beautiful landscapes, roof plazas, kiosks, food courts, children’s play areas etc. are being built at the stations. Apart from this, roads are being widened, unnecessary structures are being removed, pedestrian paths are being built and parking facilities are being increased to provide easy access to the stations.
The design of the stations designed under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is inspired by the culture, heritage and architecture of the state. Ahmedabad station is inspired by Modhera Sun Temple, while Dwarka station has a glimpse of Dwarkadhish Temple. You will see IT theme at Gurugram station. While Balasore station of Odisha has been designed on the theme of Lord Jagannath Temple. Chola architecture will be seen at Kumbakonam station of Tamil Nadu.
