Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: The Vande Bharat train has been launched in almost all states of the country. Passengers on the Vande Bharat train receive a variety of amenities. Passengers can travel long distances in a short time. The Ministry of Railways recently announced the launch of the Vande Bharat Sleeper train. This announcement was so significant that it attracted the attention of passengers across the country. However, the Railway Board recently discovered some technical flaws in the design and furnishing of the Vande Bharat Sleeper train.

The Ministry has stated that this high-speed sleeper train will not be operational until all safety and convenience measures are in place.

It was initially anticipated that India would receive its first sleeper Vande Bharat train in October 2025, but that did not materialise. The dream of transporting passengers to their destinations on long-distance routes without fatigue and while sleeping has not yet been realised. The question then becomes, when will this special train finally begin operating?

The Railways is continuously taking strict measures to make the Vande Bharat Sleeper Express the safest train in the country. The Ministry has made it clear that no train will run on the tracks unless it meets the required safety standards. The state-of-the-art Kavach 4.0 safety system is mandatory for the train. All fire safety regulations will be strictly followed for the sleeper train, and the braking system will be regularly inspected. For passenger convenience, the train’s temperature will be controlled to maintain a comfortable environment, even when doors are repeatedly opened. Trained technical staff will be available on every route in case of emergencies.

UP to get a new Vande Bharat Express
The Vande Bharat Express is now ready to run from Lucknow to Saharanpur via Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, and Moradabad. Northern Railways has completed all preparations for operating the train on this route. Travellers from Lucknow to Saharanpur or Dehradun previously faced a long, time-consuming journey. The launch of Vande Bharat Express will not only reduce this distance but also make the trip much more comfortable.

According to railway sources, the train’s inaugural run is expected to take place on November 8th. While the railways have yet to officially announce its launch, it is likely that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate it. The train will be decked out in special decorations for the inaugural run. Special welcomes are being prepared for passengers and rail enthusiasts at key stations along the route: Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, and Najibabad.
