The country’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train is to be operated from Patna to Delhi. Vande Bharat Sleeper has been manufactured with all the design and facilities. This means that the travel time from Patna to Delhi will be reduced by half. Common citizens will also be able to enjoy the journey in this train by spending less money.
When will Vande Bharat start?
The country’s Vande Bharat sleeper train can be operated in the first week of October. PM Narendra Modi himself can flag it off and operate it. It has been designed to run overnight. Its stop has also been made at Prayagraj and other stations. It will cover the distance from Patna to Delhi in just 11.5 hours.
This train will depart at 8 pm and run till 7.30 am. This sleeper variant will be full of modern facilities. The train will also have automatic doors, CCTV cameras, LED screens and aeroplane-like interiors. Talking about the ticket, it will be slightly higher than the Rajdhani Express. But it can be much cheaper than normal flights.
How much will the ticket for the Vande Bharat Sleeper
The ticket price of the new Vande Bharat Sleeper train is likely to be higher than the Rajdhani Express running from Delhi to Patna. The fare is expected to be 10 to 15 per cent higher than the Rajdhani Express.
Facilities like aeroplane-like interior, modern security system, automatic doors with sensors, LED infotainment screen, and CCTV have also been included in this train. The travel time will also be half that of to Rajdhani Express.
