Vande Bharat Express: The Vande Bharat Express is a significant initiative of the Indian Railways. Most passengers today prefer to travel by Vande Bharat Express. The Vande Bharat Express is not only fast but also offers better passenger amenities. Meanwhile, starting September 27, the Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt-Jodhpur Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week (except Tuesdays). According to Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, train number 26481, the Jodhpur-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Express, will operate six days a week (except Tuesdays) starting September 27.
It departs from Jodhpur every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 5:25 am and arrives at Delhi Cantt at 1:30 pm. It will arrive at Rewari Junction at 12:13 pm and depart two minutes later.
Currently, 150 Vande Bharat trains connect districts across several states. These trains cover major routes across the country, offering passengers high speeds and luxurious amenities.
What is the fare for the Vande Bharat train?
Vande Bharat train fares vary depending on the distance and route. There are two main categories: AC chair car and executive chair car. The fare for the Mumbai-Shirdi AC chair car is approximately ₹1,085, while the executive class ticket costs up to ₹2,015. For the Mumbai-Gandhinagar journey, the AC chair car fare is ₹1,385 and the executive class fare is ₹2,505.
Furthermore, the AC chair car fare from New Delhi to Katra is approximately ₹1,630, while the executive class ticket costs up to ₹3,015. The fare for an AC chair car from Chennai to Mysore is approximately ₹895, while an executive class ticket costs up to ₹1,625. The fare for an AC chair car from New Delhi to Varanasi is approximately ₹1,760, while an executive class ticket costs ₹3,310. Patna-Delhi Sleeper Vande Bharat
India’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper Express is expected to launch very soon. This train will directly connect Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Delhi. It will depart from Patna and travel via Prayagraj to Delhi. It will cover the approximately 1,000-kilometre distance in just 11 hours and 30 minutes. The train will depart from Patna at 8 p.m. and arrive in Delhi at 7:30 a.m. the next day.
