And if you take this pass once, you can travel through the concerned toll plaza as many times as you want during the month. No separate toll will be required. Suppose, a person crosses the toll twice a day and it costs 50 rupees to pay the toll once. In that case, the cost may be around 3000 rupees per month. However, by paying only 340 rupees for this new pass, you can travel unlimited times for the whole month.

Who is this facility for?

However, yes, to get the benefit of this monthly pass, you must follow some conditions. First, the applicant’s residence must be within 20 kilometers of the concerned toll plaza. Second, only private vehicles will be covered under this facility. That is, they must have a white number plate. Third, commercial vehicles will not get this facility. That is, if they have a yellow number plate, this facility will not be available. And the car must have an active FASTag.

How to apply and what documents are required?

You can apply for this monthly toll pass both online and offline. To apply online, you can go to the Monthly Pass section through the official portal of the Indian Highways Management Company Limited or the website or app of the bank issuing the relevant FASTag. However, to apply offline, you can go directly to the point of sale counter next to the toll plaza and activate this pass by submitting the necessary documents.

And in this case, the documents that will be required are the vehicle registration certificate, Aadhaar card as proof of address, voter ID card or electricity bill and active FASTag ID. Even in the proof of address, you will have to show that your house is within 20 km of the toll plaza.
