Delhi traffic update: Pipeline construction on New Rohtak Road will obstruct one lane of the road until June 30. The Delhi Jal Board is installing an underground pipeline along this road from Kamal T-Point to Anand Parvat Gali No. 10. As a result, one lane will be closed for this work.

Work will continue until June 30

The traffic police have announced that this work will persist until June 30. Hence, drivers are advised to steer clear of the route between Kamal T-Point and the Zakhira Flyover, as well as Anand Parvat, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The traffic police mentioned that motorists heading to the Zakhira Flyover or Punjabi Bagh can make a right turn from Kamal T-Point onto Swami Narayan Marg and access the Zakhira Underpass via the old Rohtak Road.

Motorists approaching from the Idgah or Rani Jhansi flyovers should avoid New Rohtak Road and utilize the service road next to the Rani Jhansi flyover to reach Old Rohtak Road via Ram Bagh Road and Road No. 40. Buses and heavy vehicles will be redirected from Kamal T-Point to the right onto Swami Narayan Marg, where they will need to turn left onto Old Rohtak Road.

Diversion on Rajghat road today

A program is scheduled for Wednesday at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial in Rajghat, with numerous VVIPs expected to attend. The traffic police have issued a notice indicating that traffic may be rerouted from Rajghat Chowk, ITO Chowk, Delhi Gate Chowk, Guru Nanak Chowk, Rajghat DTC Depot, and IP Flyover between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. The traffic police also stated that there will be restrictions on several roads, including Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg from ITO Chowk to Delhi Gate, Shantivan Chowk to IP Flyover, and Asaf Ali Road.
