New Delhi: Since the government reduced GST rates, a significant number of items have become cheaper. Prices of everything from food and beverages to agricultural equipment have been reduced. Farmers have also received significant relief. Tractors have also become significantly cheaper. Farmers can save between 20,000 and 1 lakh rupees on tractor purchases.

Shopkeepers are also offering offers in anticipation of Diwali, which farmers can take advantage of. The government has reduced the 18% GST on tractors to a total of 5%. After the new rates came into effect, tractors from Mahindra and other companies have become cheaper by 20,000 to 50,000 rupees. This means even large tractors are now available at much lower prices.

Buy Tractors at a Cheaper Price

Mahindra’s 2121 Ojha 27 HP model offers significant savings. Previously, the GST was around 46,000 rupees, but now it has been reduced to 19,400 rupees, resulting in a savings of approximately 27,000 rupees. Additionally, the 21 HP model will generate an income of approximately ₹25,000. Savings of ₹40,500 will be achieved on the Yuvo Series 44 HP.

Savings of ₹42,000 will be achieved on the 575 Ds model. The 585 Yuvo Tech 50 HP model will benefit by up to ₹47,000. Additionally, Mahindra’s 605 Novo model, which previously faced a GST of ₹90,000, will now be taxed at a total of ₹37,000. This is seen as a significant saving. Calculating this, farmers will be able to purchase the tractor for ₹52,000 less.

Farmers will benefit by ₹63,000 by purchasing the 75 HP model. These offers have been launched by the company in view of the festive season. In addition to the GST reduction, an additional discount of ₹4,000 to ₹5,000 will also be provided on the tractor.

Prices of this equipment also decreased.

Along with tractors, prices of other equipment also declined. Significant savings will be realised when purchasing paddy planting equipment. Prices have been reduced by approximately ₹15,400. Additionally, multi-crop threshers will now be available for ₹14,000 less, and seed-cum-fertilizer drill machines for ₹10,500 less.

The price of combine harvesters will be reduced by ₹4,375. Additionally, the price of a 14-foot cutter bar has been reduced by ₹187,500. Prices of rotavators and square balers have also decreased.
