In today’s time, relying only on a job may not guarantee success. Due to the employment crisis, many people are turning to business. But the main problem is how and where to start a business. To solve this issue, Indian Railways has introduced a great opportunity that can help you become self-reliant.
New Business Opportunities with Indian Railways
The Government of India has recently focused on promoting local products through the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative. To strengthen this effort, Indian Railways has launched the ‘One Station One Product’ project, allowing traders to sell their products at railway stations across the country.
As part of this initiative, both small and large traders, artisans, cottage industries, and local product suppliers now have the opportunity to sell their goods directly to passengers.
Where and How Can You Avail of This Facility?
Eastern Railway has announced that this business opportunity is available at more than 100 railway stations, including Howrah and Sealdah. Stations like Adisaptagram, Ambika Kalna, Arambagh, Chandannagar, Azimganj, Dattapukur, Banshberia, Piyali, Lalgola, Murshidabad, Bangaon, Krishnanagar, Dumdum Cantonment, and Bhagbangola are part of this initiative.
Any trader or self-help group that wants to sell their products can participate in this project.
