SBI Insurance – SBI General Insurance recently launched its new health insurance plan, ‘Health Alpha’, which stands out for its customizable features and comprehensive coverage options. Under this plan, customers can choose from over 50 cover options to suit their health coverage needs and lifestyle, making it a completely personalized health protection plan. The plan offers insurance options ranging from Rs 5 lakh to unlimited sums, which customers can choose for a long-term period of up to five years, offering premium discounts and protection against medical inflation.
Key features of the Health Alpha plan include a cumulative bonus of up to 10 times, which increases the sum insured every year without a claim. The plan also offers coverage for gym- and sports-related injuries, including expenses such as outpatient department (OPD), diagnostics, and physiotherapy, a first of its kind in India. Policyholders also have the option to transfer the waiting period to a new spouse or children. The plan starts at a minimum age of 18 years, with age limits ranging from 91 days to 25 years for children.
