Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a major announcement on Monday ( October 6), saying that no one will be able to exploit sanitation workers. Soon , 16,000 to 20,000 rupees will be transferred to their accounts . Additionally , all sanitation workers will be provided with Ayushman cards to ensure free treatment up to 5 lakh rupees. CM Yogi attended the ‘ Swachhata Mitra Samman Samaroh’ in Piplani Katra , Varanasi on Monday . During the ceremony, he announced Diwali gifts for sanitation workers .
CM Yogi honored the sanitation workers who made outstanding contributions under the ‘ Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada ‘ and distributed sanitation kits . CM Yogi also showered flowers on the sanitation workers . He said that there will be a public holiday on October 7th on the occasion of Lord Valmiki Jayanti. During this, CM Yogi said, ” Lord Valmiki is the destiny maker of India’s Rishi tradition, Sanatan Dharma. He is also a trikaldarshi Rishi who makes Lord Ram reside in every pore and every breath of all of us . “
He said that Maharishi Valmiki is also the first poet who composed the world’s greatest epic . CM Yogi said that within a few days, 16,000 to 20,000 rupees will be sent directly to the bank accounts of sanitation workers , and no one will be able to exploit them. He said that the government will also provide sanitation workers and sanitation workers with health benefits like the ‘ Ayushman Bharat Card ‘ worth five lakh rupees .
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that in 2014, the Prime Minister launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in the country. His aim was to raise awareness about cleanliness among every citizen. He called for a state-level effort to distribute sweets to every sanitation worker and sanitation worker on Diwali.
CM Yogi said that lamps should be lit in every poor person’s home and Diwali sweets should be delivered. Chief Minister Yogi said, ” This is the harmony of society . Our job is to unite; the SP ( Samajwadi Party) and Congress are already there to divide. We must not allow society to be divided. ” The sanitation workers had been making this demand for a long time.
