Ration Card Holders: The beneficiaries taking ration in Madhya Pradesh will now have to get e-KYC compulsorily. A campaign is being carried out from 9 April to complete this process, the last date of which is 30 April. If a beneficiary does not complete his e-KYC by April 30, he may have to face inconvenience in getting ration from the month of May. Therefore, the beneficiaries who take ration must get the card e-KYC by April 30.

Convenience of ration beneficiaries

For the convenience of ration beneficiaries by the administration, a mobile app called ‘My E-KYC’ has also been launched. With the help of this app, any beneficiary, whether he is old, disabled or someone, can do e-KYC of himself and his family sitting at home. For this, the beneficiaries will need their Aadhaar number and OTP.

E-KYC camp set up at ward level

For the convenience of the beneficiaries taking ration, e-KYC camps have been set up at the villages and ward levels of every district. In these camps, e-KYC is being done by putting thumbs of beneficiaries through POS machines. These camps are being organized to make the process of ration distribution smooth and transparent under the Public Distribution System (PDS).

Special arrangement for the elderly and the disabled

Special arrangements have also been made for the elderly and the disabled. The team is going from house to house to e-KYC, so that they do not face any kind of inconvenience.
