Know how many special trains will run, what the status of flight tickets is, and complete information about special buses of the Bihar government.

Big announcement of the Railways

Given the great festival of Diwali and Chhath Puja, the Railways has given a big gift this time. The Ministry of Railways has announced that more than 12,000 special trains will be run for Bihar during the festivals.

These include new Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains, which will run on important routes like Delhi-Gaya, Saharsa-Amritsar, Chhapra-Delhi, and Muzaffarpur-Hyderabad. Along with this, a Vande Bharat train will also start soon between Purnia and Patna. These trains will help passengers reach their homes easily.

Expensive flight tickets increase trouble

During festivals, the prices of flight tickets start skyrocketing, and the same is being seen this time as well. After October 20, the price of tickets from Delhi to Darbhanga has reached ₹ 9,000 to ₹ 10,000. At the same time, a tremendous jump of ₹ 10,000 to ₹ 17,000 is also being seen in the price of tickets from cities like Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. Although airlines like SpiceJet, Indigo, and Akash Airlines are operating on the Darbhanga route, there has been no reduction in the price of tickets yet.

Special buses of the Bihar government will also provide relief

Given the difficulties of train and flight, the BSRTC of the Bihar government has also made full preparations for Chhath and Diwali. 299 inter-state buses will be run during the entire festival season, which includes both AC and non-AC buses. BSRTC has also announced that AC and deluxe bus services will start from September 1 to November 30.

These buses will run from Patna, Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, and Purnia to cities like Delhi, Gurugram, Lucknow, and Kolkata. For online booking, you can visit the BSRTC website bsrtc.bihar.gov.in and call the helpline number 1800-345-7251 for any information.
