Punjab National Bank (PNB) has issued a new important notification for its customers. The bank has urged all account holders to update their Know Your Customer (KYC) details by April 10, following the guidelines of RBI. If you do not update KYC by this deadline, your account operations may be stopped.

PNB has asked customers to update their mobile number along with identity proof, address proof, latest photo, PAN card, Form 60, and income proof (if applicable). Simple way to update KYC with the PNB One app

PNB has made the process of KYC update very easy for its customers. You can complete this work from your mobile phone sitting at home using the PNB One app. Follow the steps given below:

First, download the PNB One app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Log in to the app using your credentials.

Find the ‘KYC Update’ section in the app and click on it.

See if your KYC update is showing pending.

If a KYC update is pending, click on the ‘Update KYC’ option.

Verify your identity through OTP-based Aadhaar authentication.

Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number linked with your Aadhaar.

Your mobile number must be linked with Aadhaar for OTP verification.

KYC Update through Internet Banking

PNB customers can also update their KYC through internet banking. For this, follow the following procedure:

Visit the official website of PNB and log in to the internet banking portal.

After logging in, go to the KYC update section and upload the required documents online.

Once your documents are verified, the KYC process will be completed.

Use only official links

PNB has warned its customers against clicking on any unauthorized links or downloading files from unknown sources, especially with regard to KYC updates. The bank has clearly stated that only uses links coming from official sources. Fraudsters may send fake links in the name of KYC updates, so it is very important to be vigilant.

Update by April 10

PNB has set April 10 as the last date for updating KYC. The bank has warned that customers who do not update their KYC within this stipulated time limit may have their account operations banned. Therefore, to avoid any inconvenience, all customers are advised to get their KYC updated before the last date.
