PM Vishwakarma Yojana : The government runs several schemes to provide employment and financial security to the people of the country. One such scheme is the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, which was launched to empower traditional artisans and workers.Under this scheme, beneficiaries receive financial assistance of up to Rs 500 per day and affordable loans.

This scheme benefits people engaged in traditional occupations such as carpenters, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, tailors, cobblers, masons, barbers, and washermen.The government aims to reintegrate these Vishwakarmas into the mainstream. They are being empowered by providing them with training, toolkits, and capital for employment. Under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, eligible individuals are issued identity cards and certificates.

The scheme provides them with training, which lasts for 15 days, and provides a daily incentive of up to Rs 500. This money is transferred directly to their bank accounts. This helps them meet their daily expenses and resume their work.Under this scheme, the government provides artisans with loans of up to Rs 1 lakh at a very low interest rate. With timely repayment, the next installment can also provide loans of up to Rs 2 lakh. The aim is to encourage small artisans to expand their businesses and provide employment to others.

This scheme also provides training and modern equipment. Traditional artisans are being prepared to meet new technologies and market needs. Through the Vishwakarma Yojana, the government aims to help people expand their small businesses.
