What is Mudra Scheme?

There are many people in the country who want to start their own business instead of doing a job. Or want to expand their already established business. But they do not have enough money for this work. To help such people, the Government of India started the Mudra Yojana in the year 2015. The Prime Minister Mudra Yojana was started in the country on 8 April 2015. Under which entrepreneurs were given loans up to Rs 10 lakh.

But from this year, the maximum loan amount in this scheme has been increased to Rs 20 lakh. Let us tell you that there are four types of categories in the scheme. These include Shishu, Kishor, Tarun and Tarun Plus. A loan of up to Rs 50,000 is given in the Shishu category. A loan of Rs 50,000 to Rs 5 lakh is given in the Kishor category, Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh in the Tarun category and those who repay the loan of this category get a loan of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh under the Tarun Plus category.

How to get loan under PM Mudra Yojana?

If you want to take a loan under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, then for that you can go to your nearest government or private bank. You can also go to RBI, NBFC or Micro Finance Institutions. There you will have to fill a form, in which you will have to provide information about your business.
