PM Kisan Yojana: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) scheme is an important financial assistance scheme for small and marginal farmers of India. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is given to eligible farmers every year in three equal installments (Rs 2,000 per installment), which is transferred directly to their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). 20th installment was not released in June

After this, the 20th installment was to be released in the month of June, but the month of June is over. Now there is a question in the minds of the farmers that when will the 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana come (PM Kisan Next Installment)?

Expected date of 20th installment

According to media reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to address a huge public meeting in Motihari, Bihar on July 18. There is speculation that during this time he can announce the 20th installment of PM-Kisan Yojana. This date is also considered important because it can be a strategic move in view of the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar. However, there has been no official confirmation from the government or the Ministry of Agriculture yet.

Will the 20th installment be released on July 18?

Let us tell you that the Prime Minister himself launches the installment of every PM Kisan Yojana. In such a situation, it is being speculated that the 20th installment of PM Kisan can be released on July 18. Actually, there was no big PM event in the month of June. Therefore, the 20th installment of the scheme was not released in the month of June. At the same time, PM Modi was also on a foreign tour from 2 to 9 July, so the installment was delayed. However, now that he has returned, it is being speculated that the installment can be released on July 18.

The 19th installment was released on 24 February

PM-Kisan Yojana was launched in 2019. It has been 6 years since the launch of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, so far about Rs 3 lakh 70 thousand crore has reached directly to the farmers’ account. The 19th installment was released on 24 February 2025 in Bhagalpur, Bihar, in which 9.8 crore farmers received assistance of more than Rs 22,000 crore.

Necessary conditions for 20th installment

To avail the benefit of the 20th installment (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Installment), farmers have to fulfill some important conditions:

eKYC: The government has made eKYC mandatory. Without eKYC, the installment may get stuck. Farmers can do OTP-based eKYC by visiting pmkisan.gov.in or biometric eKYC at the nearest CSC center.

Bank Account and Aadhar Linking: Farmers have to ensure that their bank account is linked with Aadhar and the IFSC code is correct.

Land Ceding and Registration: Farmers must have their names in the beneficiary list, and they must have ownership rights over cultivable land.
