PM Kisan Yojana: The Modi government at the Center is preparing to give big relief to the farmers before Diwali. According to media reports, the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can be released in the accounts of farmers before Diwali in October 2025. Earlier, the benefit of GST reduction will start to be available to the countrymen from September 22. In such a situation, this festive season will prove to be special for both farmers and the general public.
Launch and benefits of PM Kisan Yojana
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was started in the year 2019 with the aim of strengthening the economic condition of the farmers and helping them with farming-related expenses. Under this scheme, Rs 6000 is given annually to eligible farmers across the country. This amount reaches the bank accounts of the farmers directly through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) in the form of an amount of Rs 2000 2000 in three installments.
How many installments have been released so far
The government has released 20 installments so far under this scheme. The last, i.e., 20th installment was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 2, 2025, from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. Now the eyes of the farmers are on the 21st installment, which can reach the farmers before Diwali in October.

- After clicking on the ‘Know Your Status’ option here, enter your registration number and verify the OTP.
- After this, the status of the installment will be visible in front of you.
