PM Kisan Yojana Installment- Rs 2000 will stuck, do this work asap

PM Kisan Yojana Installment: The deadline for the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (February-March 2026) is near. According to media reports and indications from Budget 2026, Prime Minister Modi is expected to transfer over Rs 20,000 crore to the accounts of millions of farmers across the country by pressing a button between February 20th and 28th, the last week of February. However, the government has issued an alert for farmers whose verification is incomplete. If you don’t complete these three important tasks within the next 48 hours, your Rs 2,000 could be blocked:

e-KYC is most important

The government has made it clear that no rupee will be transferred without e-KYC. You can complete this yourself by visiting the pmkisan.gov.in portal and selecting the e-KYC option, entering your Aadhaar number, and then submitting an OTP. Alternatively, you can also update it via biometrics at a nearby CSC center.

New Farmer ID Rules

Starting this year, digital Farmer IDs have been made mandatory in many states, especially Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. This ID directly links your land records to Aadhaar. Special camps are being held in several districts until February 6, 2026. If your land verification (Land Seeding) shows ‘No,’ your installment will be stopped.

Aadhaar and Bank Account Linking

Your bank account must be Aadhaar-seeded and enabled for DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). If your bank recently requested your KYC and you haven’t, the bank will reject the money sent by the government.

How to check your status step by step?

Visit the official website pmkisan.gov.in.

Click on the ‘Know Your Status’ option.

Enter your registration number or mobile number.

Under Eligibility Status, check if all three have a green tick (✓).

How to get a Farmer ID?

Under the PM Kisan Yojana, a Farmer ID (Farmer ID) or “Farmer Registry” has now been made mandatory. This is a digital identification card that links your Aadhaar and land records (Khatauni). Obtaining this ID is now essential to receive the 22nd installment.
