There is big news for crores of farmers waiting for the 20th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan). Clear instructions have been given on the social media platform (X.com) that if you are registered in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, then complete some important work today. If you do not do this, you may face difficulty in getting the 20th installment. From this, it is clear that the final date of the 20th installment can be announced anytime next week. However, its possible date is considered to be July 18, 2025.

These are the 7 important tasks that should be completed today

To get your 20th installment without any interruption, pay attention to these 7 things immediately:

  1. First of all, go to https://pmkisan.gov.in/ and check your name in ‘Beneficiary Status’.
  2. If the verification of land records or any issue related to land records is pending, get it fixed immediately.
  3. It is mandatory to get e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer). Without this, the money for the next installment will not be received. This is one of the most important tasks.
  4. Link your bank account to Aadhaar, as the installment will be sent to the same account. Make sure that your bank account is seeded with Aadhaar.
  5. Verify your bank account details. Your bank account should be active.
  6. Update your mobile number, as OTP (One Time Password) and all notifications will come to the same number.
  7. The name and other details in the PM Kisan registration and Aadhaar card should be the same. If there is any mismatch or mistake, get it updated immediately.

Why is July 18 being discussed? Know the big reason

The government usually sends the next installment to the farmers at an interval of four months. Under this scheme, the 19th installment was transferred by Prime Minister Modi to the accounts of farmers from Bhagalpur, Bihar, on 24 February 2025. Now that the assembly elections in Bihar are near, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is once again going on a tour of Bihar. On July 18, he will address a big public meeting at Gandhi Maidan in Motihari. In this program, he is going to give many new gifts to the state. In such a situation, it is believed that the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana can also be released on this tour. This will be a big gift for the farmers.

If the farmers registered in the scheme want to see whether their name is in the list of beneficiaries or not, then they can check their status by visiting the official website pmkisan.gov.in.

First of all, go to the PM Kisan portal pmkisan.gov.in.

Go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section appearing on the homepage.

Click on ‘Beneficiary List’.

Fill your state, district, sub-district, block, and village.

Click on ‘Get Report’ and see your name in the village list.

What to do if the name is not in the list

If the name is not in the list even after registration, contact the District Level Grievance Redressal Monitoring Committee of your area.

  • These committees are specially formed to handle issues related to missing names or wrong entries.

Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of ₹ 6000 every year to eligible farmers, which is given in 3 installments of ₹ 2,000. This gives great support to the farmers in meeting their farming needs.
