PM Kisan Update – When will Rs 2,000 be Credited to Your Account? Check 22nd Installment release Date

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi: The central government is running several schemes for women and farmers. To provide financial assistance to farmers, the central government launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive Rs. 6,000 in annual economic aid. This amount is transferred directly to the farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). So far, the government has released 21 installments under this scheme.
On November 19, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 21st installment from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. In this installment, an amount of approximately Rs. 18,000 crore was transferred to the accounts of more than 9 crore farmers. Under this scheme, more than Rs. 4 lakh crore has been given to farmers. Now, millions of farmers across the country are waiting for their next, the 22nd installment.

When will the 22nd installment arrive?

According to media reports, the 22nd installment of PM Kisan is expected to be released in February 2026. However, the government has not yet announced the official date. Therefore, farmers are advised to complete their eligibility, e-KYC, and bank-related information promptly.

What is the PM Kisan scheme?

Under the PM Kisan scheme, eligible farmers receive Rs. 2,000 every four months.

August–November

December–March

In total, farmers receive Rs. 6,000 in assistance annually. This scheme was announced in the 2019 interim budget and later implemented nationwide. Today, it has become one of the world’s largest DBT schemes.

Who is eligible for PM Kisan?

Must be a citizen of India

Must own cultivable land

Must be a small or marginal farmer

Must not be a retired person receiving a pension of Rs. 10,000 or more per month

Must not be an income tax payer

How to check your name in the beneficiary list?

Go to the website and click on the Beneficiary List. Select State, District, Block, and Village.
Now, click on Get Report.

How to apply?

Go to pmkisan.gov.in and click on New Farmer Registration.
Now fill in your Aadhaar number and other required information.
