PM Kisan Update: Do this work by June 30, Big news for farmers

PM Kisan Update: There is a major update for Indian Farmers. Millions of farmers nationwide are looking forward to the release of the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Yojana). Through this initiative, eligible farmers receive Rs 2,000 in three installments each year. It’s important to mention that Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana on March 13, 2026, in Guwahati, Assam.

PM Kisan Yojana 23rd Date and Time

Following the trend of previous releases, the 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana is anticipated to be available around June-July 2026. However, the exact date has yet to be confirmed. Beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Yojana receive three equal payments of Rs 2,000 every four months. This amount is directly transferred to their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

What is PM-Kisan Scheme?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme is a government initiative aimed at providing financial support to eligible landholding farmer families. Under this program, farmers receive a total of Rs 6,000 annually, distributed in three equal payments of Rs 2,000 each, to assist with agricultural and related costs. To access the installment funds, farmers must ensure their e-KYC is completed and their Aadhaar card is linked to their bank account.

e-KYC for PM-Kisan Scheme

Eligible farmers should be aware that completing e-KYC is essential to receive the 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. This process must be finalized by June 30, 2026. Those who do not complete their e-KYC will not be eligible for the next Rs 2,000 installment.

Farmers can complete their e-KYC online by visiting the pmkisan.gov.in website and selecting the “e-KYC” option. They will need to input their Aadhaar number, verify it through an OTP, and submit the information.

eKYC Methods in PM-Kisan Scheme

There are three available methods for beneficiaries to complete their e-KYC in the PM-Kisan scheme:

OTP based e-KYC

Biometric based e-KYC
Face authentication based e-KYC

Collector Mrs. Preeti Yadav has instructed all tehsildars to complete e-KYC for all eligible beneficiaries in the district within the stipulated timeframe. She has also directed extensive publicity through gram panchayats and field staff from agriculture, panchayat, and other departments to educate farmers about the need for e-KYC.

How can farmers check their PM-Kisan beneficiary status ?

Visit the official website of PM-Kisan.
Go to the Beneficiary Status page.
Click on “Beneficiary Status”.
Enter your Aadhaar number or bank account number.
Click on “Get Data”.
View your beneficiary details.
Check the payment status.
Your status will then be displayed on the screen once the system has processed your information.
