Objective of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
Farmers get financial help through this scheme. The objective of the government in starting this scheme is to strengthen farming in the country and increase the income of the farmers. Farmers use the money from the government for necessary works like seeds,fertilizers,and pesticides. The government sends Rs 2000 to the accounts of farmers every 4 months,which is Rs 6000 annually.
Eligibility for PM Kisan Nidhi
- All small and marginal farmers of the country
- Farmers should have cultivable land up to 5 acres.
- If there is more than one farmer member in the family,all of them will get different benefits.
- Which farmers will not get the benefit?
- If the land is in the name of any organization or company.
- If the applicant is working on any constitutional post.
- The applicant should not be a current or former minister,MP,MLA,or government employee.
- Former employees are taking a pension of more than Rs 10,000 from the government.
- If you pay income tax,then you will not get the benefit.
Documents required to apply for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
To apply for PM Kisan Yojana,documents like Aadhar card,land documents (Khatauni/Khasra number,land record),bank account details (IFSC code,account number,branch name),mobile number,and a passport-size photo will be required.
How to apply online in the PM Kisan Samman Yojana?
- First of all,register yourself as a farmer.
- First,go to the official website https:///pmkisan.gov.in.
- After this,click on the option of ‘New Farmer Registration’.
- After this,choose the option according to whether you are a rural farmer or an urban farmer.
- Enter your Aadhaar number,mobile number here,and enter your state.
- After this,enter the Captcha Code and click on Get OTP.
- By entering OTP and Captcha Code,OTP will come on your Aadhaar-linked mobile,enter it.
- You will be asked whether you are getting the benefit of the PM Kisan Yojana or not. Answer it in yes or no.
- Upload all the necessary documents.
- If your application is accepted,money will start coming into the account.
