Summer Special Trains: There is another good news for railway passengers. Indian Railways will runs special trains from this month April. In response to increased railway rush this season,Indian Railways has decided to run special trains to Kolkata starting from Mau and passing through several cities in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Railway companies publish their timetables. The train will begin operating on April 8th and will make a total of 15 round trips.

According to the Railway Ministry,Train No. 05096/05095 Mau-Kolkata-Mau special train will operate. This train will depart from Mau every Wednesday from April 8 to July 15,2026. In return,the 05095 Kolkata-Mau special train will operate every Thursday from April 9 to July 16. Train No. 05096 Mau-Kolkata special train will depart from Mau Junction at 1:30 PM.
This train will reach Kolkata the next day at 8.50 am via Belthara Road,Salempur,Bhatni,Bhatpar Rani,Mairwa,Siwan,Ekma,Chhapra,Dighwara,Sonpur,Hajipur,Shahpur Patori,Barauni,Kiul,Jamui,Jhajha,Jasidih,Madhupur,Chittaranjan,Asansol,Durgapur,Bardhaman,Bandel and Naihati. On the return journey,05095 Kolkata-Mau special train will leave from Kolkata at 1.20 pm.
It will reach Mau Junction at 7.45 am the next day via Naihati,Bandel,Bardhaman,Durgapur,Asansol,Chittaranjan,Madhupur,Jasidih,Jhajha,Jamui,Kiul,Barauni,Shahpur Patori,Hajipur,Sonpur,Dighwara,Chhapra,Ekma,Siwan,Mairwa,Bhatpar Rani,Bhatni,Salempur and Belthara Road.
This special train will have a total of 19 coaches,including 2 SLRD,10 general,5 sleeper,1 air-conditioned third AC,and 1 second AC coach. The Railways has appealed to passengers to arrive at the station early to avoid crowds and enjoy a comfortable journey on these trains.
05101/05102 Gorakhpur-New Delhi-Gorakhpur Summer Bi-weekly Special train will run from Gorakhpur on every Tuesday and Saturday from 07th April to 14th July,2026 and from New Delhi on every Wednesday and Sunday from 08th April to 15th July,2026 for 29 trips.
Train No. 05101 Gorakhpur – New Delhi Summer Bi-weekly Special train will leave Gorakhpur at 16.00 hrs on every Tuesday and Saturday from 07 April to 14 July,2026 and will leave Anand Nagar at 17.02 hrs,Siddharth Nagar at 17.30 hrs,Bardhni at 18.02 hrs,Tulsipur at 18.50 hrs,Balrampur at 19.37 hrs,Gonda at 20.30 hrs,Sitapur at 23.55 hrs,next day it will leave Shahjahanpur at 01.27 hrs,Bareilly at 02.50 hrs,Moradabad at 04.30 hrs and Ghaziabad at 06.50 hrs and will reach New Delhi at 07.30 hrs.
