While TVS Motor has claimed the number one position with strong sales of over 49,300 units,Bajaj Auto and Ather Energy have also surprised everyone with their magical growth. Ola Electric has also made a strong comeback in the top 5 list with 10,117 units,while emerging players like River Mobility and Simple Energy have made their successful entry into the top 10 at a magical pace,giving a strong feeling of electric revolution on the roads.
TVS Motor
TVS Motor Company created absolute history in March 2026,successfully selling over 49,300 electric scooters in the last 31 days,marking TVS’s strongest monthly sales figure ever. Strong demand for TVS’s powerful and reliable iQube and new Orbiter series has propelled the company to the top with a market share of nearly 26%,dramatically strengthening the confidence of high-end customers. With superior build quality and a successful service network,TVS has established itself as the undisputed king of the EV segment,becoming the first company to sell over 300,000 units in a single year for the first time.
Bajaj Auto and Ather Energy
Bajaj Auto also completed a strong and successful month in March,with the Bajaj Chetak’s impressive performance helping the company achieve impressive sales of over 46,000 units,a strong milestone in Bajaj’s electric journey. Ather Energy also held a strong third position with a strong performance,selling a total of approximately 35,700 units,driven by its dynamic family scooter,the Rizta,and the successful 450 series. This month was a landmark for Ather,as the Rizta model now accounts for 60 to 70 percent of its total sales,establishing a strong and successful foothold in both the premium and family segments.
Hero Vida and Ola Electric
Hero MotoCorp’s electric brand,Vida,delivered its strongest and most successful performance ever in March,with a total of nearly 21,500 units sold across Vida’s various models. Vida’s meteoric growth is largely attributed to its new models and its innovative ‘Battery as a Service’ (BaaS) model,which has made EVs both affordable and robust. Meanwhile,Ola Electric,which has been facing significant challenges for some time,recorded a remarkable 150% monthly growth with 10,117 units in March,making a strong comeback to the top-5 list. This month,Ola also achieved the distinction of becoming the first Indian company to achieve this feat by surpassing the milestone of 1 million cumulative registrations.
