Beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are eagerly waiting for their 20th installment. As per government guidelines, the next installment will be paid in the same bank account that is linked to your Aadhaar card. Along with this, it is very important for farmers to complete e-KYC. To ensure transparency and identify real beneficiaries, the government has made e-KYC mandatory to ensure that the money reaches the right bank account.
Easy ways to do e-KYC
If you have not got your e-KYC done yet, don’t worry! You can do it easily from home. There are two main ways to complete e-KYC:
Aadhaar-based OTP method
This is the easiest and most widely used method. For this, your mobile number must be linked to your Aadhaar.
First of all, you have to visit the official portal of PM Kisan https://pmkisan.gov.in.
On the top right of the website, you will see the ‘e-KYC’ option, click on it.
Carefully enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the box provided.
A one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number, enter it and submit it.
After OTP verification, your e-KYC will be completed.
Face Authentication E-KYC
This method is very useful for farmers who do not have a mobile number linked to Aadhaar or are facing problems in receiving OTP. In this, you can complete e-KYC by scanning your face.
First of all, download the PM-Kisan mobile app and the Aadhaar Face RD App from the Google Play Store.
Open the PM Kisan app and log in with your registered mobile number.
Go to the ‘PM Kisan Yojana Beneficiary Status’ option in the app.
If the e-KYC status shows ‘No’, click on ‘e-KYC’.
Enter your Aadhaar number and consent to scan your face. The app will guide you to scan the face correctly.
Once the face scan is done successfully, ‘e-KYC Complete’ will appear on the screen, which means your e-KYC is complete.
When will the 20th installment of PM Kisan Yojana come
The 20th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 20th Kist June 2025) can come this month, i.e. in June 2025. Under this scheme, eligible farmers get assistance of ₹ 2,000 in every installment. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the exact date yet. Earlier, the 19th installment of PM Kisan Yojana was released on 24 February 2025. Farmer brothers should give priority to their e-KYC so that they do not have to face any delay or problem when the installment comes.
