What is the PM-Kisan scheme?
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a key initiative by the central government, aimed at providing eligible farmers with financial support of Rs 6,000 each year. This amount is disbursed in three equal installments to farmers’ bank accounts. The initiative’s objective is to assist farmers with expenses related to seeds, fertilizers, agricultural tools, and other farming necessities, offering substantial relief to small and marginal farmers.
