PM Kisan Yojana 22nd Installment: The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) has become a financial support for millions of farmers across the country. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive a yearly assistance of ₹6,000 in three equal installments directly into their bank accounts. Millions of farmers across the country have already benefited from this government scheme. The government released the 21st installment last month, in November.
Now, many farmers are waiting for the government to release the next installment, the 22nd. However, it’s important to ensure that farmers complete certain tasks before the 22nd installment is released. Farmers whose work remains incomplete may face delays in receiving their 22nd installment. Let’s tell you when the 22nd installment might be released and what needs to be completed before that.
The next installment may come on this date
After receiving the 21st installment, millions of farmers across the country are now eagerly awaiting the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. According to media reports, the central government may release the next installment in February. However, no official date has been announced by the government yet. Looking at the pattern of previous installments, most installments were transferred around February. Therefore, it is believed that this time too, the funds may reach farmers’ accounts this month. For now, farmers are being advised to complete their necessary work in a timely manner.
Complete this important work before the 22nd installment
E-KYC is the most important requirement for uninterrupted access to the benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana. Farmers who have not yet completed e-KYC may have their 22nd installment withheld. Farmers can complete this process themselves by visiting the website pmkisan.gov.in and entering an OTP. Alternatively, e-KYC can also be done by visiting the nearest Common Service Center.
Additionally, it’s essential that your bank account is linked to Aadhaar. Sometimes, funds cannot be transferred due to DBT being disabled or not being linked to Aadhaar. Therefore, it’s important to visit your bank in a timely manner to verify that your account is linked to Aadhaar and that DBT is active.
Incorrect information submitted during the application process for the PM Kisan Yojana is also a major reason for installment delays. Any errors in the name spelling, Aadhaar number, bank account number, or land records can result in the 22nd installment not being received. If you suspect a mistake in your application, please contact us.
So, get it corrected as soon as possible. Farmers can also check the status of their installment themselves. To do this, go to the Beneficiary Status section on the official PM Kisan website and enter your Aadhaar number or registration number. This clearly shows whether your installment is in process or stuck for some reason.
