Big news for more than 9 crore farmers in the country. The wait for the next, i.e. 20th installment of ₹ 6,000 annual amount received under the ambitious Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of the Central Government may end soon. According to media reports, this installment is likely to be released on June 20, although there is no official confirmation from the government yet.
This scheme sends the amount directly to the bank account of the farmers through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) in 3 installments of ₹ 2-2 thousand every 4 months. This benefit is available to those Indian farmers who have land up to 2 hectares. But, this time some new rules and documents have been made mandatory to get the installment. So let’s know in detail what is the new update on PM Kisan Yojana and how to ensure that your installment does not stop.
When will the 20th installment of PM Kisan come
According to the rules of PM Kisan Yojana, the first installment is released in April-July, the second installment between August-November, and the third installment between December-March. Looking at this pattern, the 20th installment is expected to be released between June and July 2025.

Since the 4-month period is ending in June 2025, there is a strong possibility that the date of release of the installment can be announced anytime in the last week of June. Farmers are eagerly waiting for this amount, especially since this financial help is very important for them during the sowing season.
Without these important documents, you will not get the benefit of ₹ 2000
