PM Kisan Yojana: Lakhs of farmer brothers and sisters across the country are eagerly waiting for the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The money for the 19th installment was received in February 2025, and the 20th installment was to come in June, but by the end of June 2025, the money had not yet arrived. Usually, three installments of PM Kisan are released every year in February, June, and October.

This time, there has been no official announcement from the government even after June 2025. Now it is expected that Prime Minister Modi can release this installment under a special program in the first week of July. If farmers want information about the arrival of the 20th installment of PM Kisan, they can get information by calling the toll-free number.

Getting e-KYC done has become very important

If you have not got your e-KYC done yet, then your next installment may get stuck, or your name may also be removed from the beneficiary list. The government wants to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach only eligible farmers, and e-KYC is an important step in this direction.

Three easy methods of e-KYC

OTP based:- An OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar, which will have to be filled on the website. This method can be done easily from home.

Biometric:- Go to the nearest CSC (Common Service Center) i.e. Jan Seva Kendra and get verification done through fingerprint. This is for those people whose mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar.

Facial authentication:- Elderly and disabled farmers can also complete e-KYC by getting their face scanned at the CSC center. This facility is for those people who have difficulty in giving fingerprints.

What to do if the name in Aadhaar and the scheme is different

If there is a mistake in the name registered in your Aadhaar card and the name registered in the scheme, then there are two ways to correct it:

Online correction

You have to go to the official website of PM Kisan.

After this, click on “Update of Self-Registered Farmer”.

Here you have to update your Aadhaar number, captcha, and correct name.

Offline correction

Go to your nearest CSC. You can get your name corrected by visiting the CSC Centre or the Agriculture Department Office. Here the concerned officer will help you.

It is very important to ensure that there is no discrepancy between the name in Aadhaar and the scheme; otherwise, the installment may be stopped.
