PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana: Free training and Rs 8000 per month

PM Kaushal Yojana- In this era of rising unemployment, the government’s skill development schemes are proving to be a big relief for the youth. Especially through the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana i.e. PMKVY, many youth are getting employment by developing their skills. But the matter of concern is that even today a large number of youth are deprived of information about these schemes.
They want to take advantage of government training schemes, but they neither know about them nor the application process. Keeping this problem in mind, in today’s special report we are telling what these schemes are, who is getting the benefit and how to apply for them.
What is Kaushal Vikas Yojana?
Vikram Singh, state president of All India Training Provider Association, said that the aim of Kaushal Vikas Yojana is to make the youth employable by training them according to the demand of the industries. Under this, youth are given free training in many skills of technical, vocational and service sector. This scheme is not only for newly unemployed youth, but also for those who were previously employed and have been out of work due to some reason.
The biggest benefit of this scheme is that it gives the youth an opportunity to learn skills according to their interest and local demand, so that they can get employment in their own area or start self-employment. Vikram Singh said that through this scheme, youth are getting employment opportunities not only in India but also abroad. Women are also becoming financially self-reliant by taking advantage of this scheme.
According to Vikram Singh, with the cooperation of the central government, state government and private companies, most employment is being provided in areas like automobile, construction, IT, healthcare, tourism, electronics, beauty and wellness. State governments are implementing this scheme at their own level, while the private sector is also running training centers under its Corporate Social Responsibility i.e. CSR. These companies are also providing employment opportunities to trained youth. In such a situation, Kaushal Vikas Yojana has become not just a training program but a strong medium to fight unemployment.
