PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana– Good news for Indian Farmers. While waiting for the 20th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Modi government has prepared to bring a new scheme. This scheme will directly benefit 1.7 crore farmers. The name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana. This scheme has been approved by the central government today.
A budget of Rs 24000 crore has been passed for this scheme, which will include 36 sub-schemes. In the cabinet meeting, the Union Cabinet has approved the PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana scheme. Remember that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced this agriculture scheme in the budget 2025-26.
Presenting the budget, the Finance Minister had said, ‘By combining existing schemes and special measures, this program will cover 100 such districts where productivity is low and credit parameters are below average.’ This means that the government will focus on those areas where there is low yield in farming.
Farmers’ income will increase
The aim of this scheme is to increase agricultural productivity. Also, farmers are encouraged to grow different types of crops. Also, they are encouraged to adopt sustainable agricultural practices. The government estimates that about 1.7 crore farmers will benefit from this program. This scheme will help in increasing the income of farmers and improving farming.
What is PM Dhan Dhanya Agriculture Scheme?
