Check PF Balance with a Missed Call
The EPFO has launched a special feature for employees. Employees can easily check their PF balance through a missed call. The number 9966044425 has been issued to employees. Upon giving a missed call to this number, you’ll receive the full balance information via text.
Only employees whose mobile number is already registered in the EPFO records can avail this facility. The total balance will be sent to this number via a message. Internet access is not required for this.
Check Balance This Way
If, for some reason, you don’t want to use the missed call service, you can check your PF balance through other EPFO services. Employees can also check their balance through the Umang app, the EPFO website, or the SMS service.
How much interest did PF employees receive?
The central government transfers interest to PF employees every year. This amount is transferred every financial year. For the financial year 2024-2025, 8.25% interest has been transferred. This amount has proved to be a relief for employees in times of inflation.
