Where and How to Apply?
If your old PAN card is lost or damaged or there is a need to correct the information, then it is wisest to apply for this new PAN card.
The central government has launched two portals for new PAN cards. Protean (NSDL) – (earlier known as NSDL e-Governance). UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited (UTIITSL). Check the back of your old PAN card through which organization the card was issued. Then apply on any of the portals accordingly.
How to apply from NSDL?
- To apply for a new PAN card from NSDL, first go to the website
- https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/ReprintEPan.html.
- Then enter your required information such as PAN number, Aadhaar number, date of birth, etc.
- Then check the specific tick box and click on the ‘Submit’ option. Then go to the new page and verify your updated information.
- Then an OTP will come on your mobile.
- If you want, you can get the OTP through mobile or email.
- Then you have to pay a fee of 50 rs.
- Then click on ‘Submit’.
- After paying the fee, you will get an Acknowledgment Receipt.
- Then within 24 hours you can download the e-PAN from the NSDL website.
- The PAN card will be sent to your physical address within 15 to 20 days.

*Those whose PAN card is issued through UTIITSL
First go to the official website https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/reprint.html.
Then click on the ‘Reprint PAN Card’ option.
Then submit the PAN number, date of birth and captcha code on the new page.
Then do OTP verification and pay the fee of 50 taka.
After 24 hours, your e-PAN can be downloaded and the physical PAN card will be delivered to your address within 15 to 20 days.
