UPI New App: There’s some good news for UPI users. Now, there’s no need to worry about money being deducted from your account or payments getting stuck. AI is here to help. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI)-powered “UPI Help” app to further enhance the UPI experience. This AI assistant app will quickly resolve UPI-related issues and questions.
The UPI Help application will allow customers to quickly find solutions to many of their problems. In the event of a payment delay, they can quickly report it to their bank.
Highlights of ‘UPI Help’
This assistant will answer user questions about UPI transactions and payment features, and will also help you learn about the application’s features.
Users will be able to check the status of their UPI transactions, as well as register and track any payment-related complaints. The application will also share information with your bank for faster resolution.
Users can view and manage all their active mandates (subscriptions) in one place. The assistant can also pause, resume, or cancel subscriptions by providing a deep link to the corresponding UPI app.
NPCI stated that ‘UPI Help’ will be directly integrated with several platforms, which will benefit users. It will be accessible on bank websites, the DigiSaathi portal, and all UPI apps.
Payments made through UPI are steadily increasing in the country. According to a PIB report, more than 640 million transactions are made daily in India. This often leads to customer issues like payment delays. Therefore, this AI-enabled app from NPCI can play a significant role in digital payments.
