Major news for EPFO members. The Provident Fund (PF) is a key savings tool for employees, offering financial security for retirement. However, employees often have questions like whether their company is contributing to the PF, how much interest they’re earning, what happened to their old PF accounts, and what their current balance is.

By regularly checking your PF account details, you can easily find answers to these questions. Nowadays, checking your PF balance is a breeze, thanks to government initiatives that allow you to get all the information with just a missed call.

Find out your PF balance with a simple missed call:

1. If your mobile number is linked to your Universal Account Number (UAN), just give a missed call to 9966044425 to check your PF balance.

2. After the missed call, you’ll receive a message from the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO).

3. This message will provide details about your PF balance and any recent contributions.

4. This service is completely free, but make sure your UAN is active to use it.

You can also get information via SMS:

1. To receive updates about your PF account through SMS, text EPFOHO UAN ENG to 7738299899 from your registered mobile number.
