What is the Fastag Annual Pass of ₹ 3000

Fastag Annual Pass is a new facility launched by NHAI from 15 August 2025. Its purpose is to eliminate the hassle of paying money repeatedly at the toll plaza and recharging the Fastag. With this pass of ₹ 3000, any private vehicle owner (car, jeep, van) can make 200 toll trips within a year. This pass will be linked to your existing Fastag, so there will be no need to stop at the toll.

Complete the process of making a Fastag pass

Making this pass is very easy. Just a few steps have to be followed:

First of all, download the ‘Highway Travel App’ or visit the official website of NHAI.

Log in through your mobile number or Vehicle Registration Number (VRN).

Verify your existing and active Fastag.

Fill in all the information sought and upload the required documents.

Pay ₹3000 through UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking.

Within 2 to 24 hours of successful payment, your pass will be linked to your Fastag, and you will get a confirmation message.

What documents are required to make a pass

Along with knowing how to make a Fastag pass, it is also important to know which documents are required for this.

  • Vehicle registration certificate
  • KYC document
  • ID proof
  • Address proof
  • A passport-sized photo of the vehicle owner

The pass will not work on these expressways

It is very important to note that this pass will not work on all roads. It can be used only on those toll plazas that are run by NHAI. This pass is not valid on these major expressways:

Yamuna Expressway

Agra-Lucknow Expressway

Purvanchal Expressway

Bundelkhand Expressway

On these roads, you will have to pay the normal toll tax as before.

Cost per Trip:- Just ₹15

If you were to pay the normal toll 200 times, you would have to spend around ₹10,000. That is, this pass will give you a direct saving of up to ₹7000. Keep in mind that the validity of the pass is 1 year, but if you complete 200 trips before then, it will expire, and you will have to get a new pass.
