Indian Railways has announced the launch of four new Vande Bharat Express trains from Pune.
According to the Railways, this will significantly enhance connectivity with other cities in India. According to a report, these new routes are Pune-Shegaon, Pune-Vadodara, Pune-Secunderabad and Pune-Belgaum. Currently, two Vande Bharat trains operate from Pune. With the launch of these four new routes, the total number of Vande Bharat trains running from Pune will increase to 6.
Pune-Shegaon Vande Bharat
The Pune-Shegaon Vande Bharat Express is expected to stop at Daund, Ahmednagar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Jalna.
Pune-Vadodara Vande Bharat
This Vande Bharat train may stop at Lonavala, Panvel, Vapi and Surat.
Pune-Secunderabad Vande Bharat
This train is expected to stop at Daund, Solapur and Gulbarga (Kalburgi).
Ticket prices
According to the report, the ticket prices for these new trains will be determined based on the route and category. The prices are expected to be between Rs 1,500 and Rs 2,000.
On the other hand, Vande Bharat Express (22489/22490) running between Meerut and Lucknow will also stop at Hapur from July 27. Approval has been received from the Railway Board. Along with this, the Railways is planning to extend this train to Varanasi from August 27.
