New Amrit Bharat Express Launched Between Amritsar and New Jalpaiguri, See Route, Timings 

Amrit Bharat Express: Railways has launched the Amrit Bharat Express between Amritsar and New Jalpaiguri for the convenience of passengers. For the convenience of rail passengers and to provide better rail connectivity, the Railways has launched the Amrit Bharat Express train between Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri-Amritsar. The train will operate every Thursday from Amritsar and every Saturday from New Jalpaiguri.

Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu flagged off the 14664/14663 Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Amrit Bharat Express from Amritsar Railway Station on Thursday at 12:45 p.m. The train was operated from Amritsar to Saharanpur by Train Manager Dharamveer of Saharanpur Railway Headquarters.

After stopping at Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt stations en route, the train reached platform number three of Saharanpur railway station at 6:00 pm and departed for New Jalpaiguri at 6:05 pm. Departing from Saharanpur, the train will reach New Jalpaiguri after stopping at Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Gonda, Balrampur, Barhi, Siddharth Nagar, Anand Nagar, Gorakhpur, Kaptanganj, Siswa Bazar, Narkatganj, Sikta, Raiksol, Sitamarhi, Janakpur Road, etc. stations.

On its return journey, the train will depart at 8:00 am on Saturday, May 16th, and arrive at Saharanpur Railway Station at 8:15 pm the next day. According to railway officials, the 04654 Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Special previously operated as the Amrit Bharat Express. It will now operate weekly as the Amrit Bharat Express.

Northern Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Siddharth Shekhar Upadhyay, stated that the operation of this train will provide passengers, entrepreneurs, and businessmen from Saharanpur with the benefit of direct rail service to New Jalpaiguri and the Northeast region, which will also give new impetus to trade, industry, and tourism. Furthermore, passengers will be provided with better and more convenient transportation.

Meanwhile The Railway Board has officially approved the running of a new weekly Amrit Bharat Express between New Jalpaiguri and Amritsar. This train will be equipped with modern facilities and will provide direct connectivity to Punjab for the people of the area. This decision of the Railway Board has created a wave of happiness in Seemanchal and Mithila. The operation of this train will give a big boost to trade and tourism.

As per Railway Board orders, Train No. 14664/14663 Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Amrit Bharat Express will run weekly. The train will depart Amritsar every Thursday at 12:45 PM and arrive New Jalpaiguri at 4:15 AM on Saturday. On its return journey from New Jalpaiguri, the train will depart every Saturday at 8:00 AM and arrive Amritsar at 2:20 AM on Monday. This train will run via Jhanjharpur, Raghopur, and Forbesganj. The route includes several important stations, including Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Sitapur, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Narkatiaganj, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Shisho, Sakri, Jhanjharpur, Nirmali, Saraigarh, Raghopur, Lalitgram, Narpatganj, Forbesganj, and Araria.
