During festivals like Diwali, Chhath Puja, and Durga Puja, the situation becomes such that it becomes difficult for people to even get train tickets. In such a situation, people go from door to door for confirmed tickets. To get rid of this problem, Indian Railways has made special arrangements in this regard. Let us tell you that this time, keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, the Railways has made a big announcement. The Railway Minister has informed that a total of more than 12 thousand Puja special trains will be operated from 21 September to 30 November. In its first phase, about 150 special trains will run. Trains will run zone-wise

Let us tell you that the maximum number of special trains will be run by South Railway during the festival. On the other hand, East Central Railway has fixed 14 special trains on Bihar routes, which will cover cities like Patna, Gaya, and Muzaffarpur. A total of 588 trips will be completed in these.

On the other hand, 24 special trains will be run on the Kolkata, Sealdah, and Howrah routes in Eastern Railway, which will include 198 trips. Talking about Western Railway, special service will be provided from Mumbai, Surat, and Vadodara. 24 special trains will be run here, so that people working outside Gujarat and Maharashtra can get the benefit of special facilities. Trains will be run in southern areas like Southern Railway Coimbatore, Madurai, and Chennai, in which a total of 66 trips will be completed.

Relief will be available in other zones as well

On the other hand, special trains will also be arranged on the Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Sambalpur routes. Service will be available on the South Railway Ranchi and Tatanagar routes. On the other hand, special trains will be run from North Railway Prayagraj and Kanpur. Apart from this, special trains will be arranged on routes like Raipur, Bhopal, Kota, and Bilaspur. According to the railways, this is the first phase, and more trains can be added in the future.
