LPG Price- Big relief for common people. With the beginning of every new month, many changes come in the life of the common man. All are related to expensive and cheap. The rates of LPG cylinders are also released on the first date of every month. 1st August has brought great news. Indian oil companies have reduced the prices of LPG cylinders for the fifth consecutive month. After this reduction, the pocket of the common man will get some relief.
Now the prices of LPG cylinders have changed across the country from August 1, 2025. The 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has become cheaper by Rs 33 to 34. The biggest drop has been seen in Chennai. The prices of commercial cylinders have come down but there has been no change in the 14 kg domestic gas cylinder. Let us know what are the rates of gas cylinders in different cities.
LPG rates from August 1
There has been a reduction in the price of 19 kg gas cylinder in metros. In Delhi, it is Rs. 1631.5 after a reduction of Rs. 35.5 and in Mumbai, it is Rs. 1582.5 after a reduction of Rs. 34. In Chennai, its price has come down by 34.5, after which it is available for Rs. 1823.5. In Kolkata, the price of gas cylinder has come down by 34.5, after which it is available for Rs. 1734.5.
The price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has decreased but there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders. The price of 14 kg cylinder was increased by Rs 50 on 8 April 2025. There has been no change since then. Its rate is Rs 853 in Delhi, Rs 852.50 in Mumbai, Rs 879 in Kolkata and Rs 868.50 in Chennai.
