This program aims to assist 50 lakh Below Poverty Line (BPL) families, enhancing their quality of life. The primary goal of the Har Ghar Har Grihini scheme is to ensure that low-income households have access to gas cylinders.
Advantages of the Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana
Through this initiative, over 50 lakh underprivileged families in Haryana can obtain gas cylinders for Rs 500. Additionally, the government will directly deposit any extra costs incurred for purchasing the cylinder into the family’s bank account. Each household is allowed to buy up to 12 cylinders annually, which will help improve their financial situation.
How to Apply for the Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana
To apply for this scheme, families need to reach out to their local administration or the relevant department. They will need to fill out an application form and submit it along with the necessary documents. To make things easier, the government has also set up an online application option.

– Haryana family identity card
– Aadhar card
– Copy of the gas cylinder connection (LPG ID, LPG Consumer Number)
– Mobile number linked to the PPP ID
– Bank account details of a female family member
Eligibility Criteria
– Applicants must be permanent residents of Haryana.
– The funds will only be credited to the account of a woman in the family.
– A Family ID (PPP ID or Haryana Family Identity Card) is required for the application.
– The family’s annual income must not exceed Rs 1.80 lakh.
– Only BPL and Antyodaya families (AAY Card or Pink Card holders) are eligible to apply for this scheme.
