What is Bima Sakhi Yojana

Bima Sakhi Yojana has been started with the aim of making women financially self-reliant in collaboration with the Central Government and LIC. In this, women are given extensive training in insurance, financial literacy, and customer service.
After completing the training, women can work as LIC agents in their village or locality. Their main task is to make people aware of insurance products and help them buy insurance so that they can contribute to the financial security of their families and communities.
How much stipend and commission will be given
During the training period, you will get a stipend of ₹ 5,000 to ₹ 7,000 per month, which will help you meet your daily needs.
On becoming an agent after training, you will get attractive commissions and various incentives on the policies sold.
Women can earn up to ₹48,000 extra in the first year itself, which will provide a strong initial income source for them.
The condition for receiving a stipend for 3 consecutive years is that 65% of the active policies in the first year should remain active in the next year as well. This is a performance-based condition that rewards you for your ability and hard work.
