The entire process of getting a learner’s license takes place on the ‘Transport Seva’ portal. You can easily get your license by following the steps given below:
First of all, go to the official website of ‘Transport Seva’.
On the homepage, you will find the option of ‘Online Test’, click on it.
Now you will reach the ‘Sarathi’ portal, where you have to select your state.
Many options will appear here, from which choose ‘Apply for Learner Licence’.
Click on ‘Applicant with Aadhaar’ and enter your Aadhaar number or virtual ID. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter it and proceed.
Now you have to fill in your personal information, such as name, address, and other details.
You have to upload the required documents like address proof, identity card, and age proof.
After uploading all the documents and paying the fees, you will get an application number. Keep it safe.
How to give an online learner’s license test
After paying the fees, you have to take the test.
Go to the ‘Sarathi’ portal again and click on the ‘Online LLTest(STALL)’ option.
Log in by entering your application number and captcha code. Now you can take the online test.
If you pass the test, your learner’s license will be issued to you immediately, which you can download.
What is after the learning license
After getting a learning license from anywhere, online or offline, you have to go to your nearest RTO and give a driving test for a permanent driving license. For this test, you have to carry all the necessary documents and your fee receipt. If you pass the driving test, your permanent driving license will be sent to your given address.
