The 27th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana was Rs 1250, but this time an extra Rs 250 has been given as a gift for Rakshabandhan. That is, the installment and the Rakhi gift have been transferred to the bank accounts of women together.

This time the festival of Rakshabandhan has become special for lakhs of women of Madhya Pradesh. Under the Ladli Behna Yojana of the state government, the 27th installment has been transferred today afternoon i.e. on 7th August. Women can check the balance of their bank account by SMS received from the bank .

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has transferred the money for this scheme from Narsinghgarh in Rajgarh district this afternoon. On this occasion, an amount of more than Rs 1,859 crore has been transferred to the accounts of 1 crore 26 lakh 89 thousand 823 beneficiary women.

Got 1500 rupees instead of 1250 rupees

Every woman has been given a Rakshabandhan shagun of Rs 250 along with a monthly amount of Rs 1250. That is, a total of Rs 1500 has come into the bank accounts of women.

What is Ladli Behna Yojana?

Ladli Behna Yojana was started in the year 2023. The purpose of the Madhya Pradesh government behind starting this scheme is to make women financially strong. So that women can fulfill their health and family responsibilities. Under the scheme, eligible women are given Rs 1250 every month. The government has so far spent Rs 6198.88 crore for this scheme in the financial year 2025-26.
